Biography
The painter and outstanding Scottish etcher D. Y. Cameron became a member of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers in 1895. His architectural etchings gained him world renown through his special exhibitions in New York in 1895 and at the Gutekunst Gallery in London in 1898. He was awarded the gold medal at the International Art Exhibition in Munich in 1905.
