Biography
Elmqvist studied in Stockholm, Rome and Paris. He worked extensively on new, improved types of bronze casting, inventing a new modeling compound, as well as a gas-permeable molding compound, and finally even a special casting furnace with improved air supply and spiral firing passages. Unfortunately, he was unable to obtain a patent on the processes he invented.
