Biography
Albert Hinrich Hussmann (Lüdingworth/Cuxhaven 1874 - 1946 Fürstenberg)
The artist, well-known for his expressive depictions of animals ,studied at the university of Fine Arts in Berlin. He had a studio in Berlin that was destroyed during the Second World War. He spent his last (active) years in Fürstenberg, where he designed numerous figurines for the local porcelain manufacturer. He passed away in 1946, 72 years of age. He participated in several exhibitions and received a gold medal from Emperor Wilhelm in 1914 for an equestrian statue.
Most of his bronze works were cast by Akt. Ges. Gladenbeck, Berlin.
