Wilfried Reckewitz* (1925 - 1991)

Steel. Mounted on a square, pink marble plate. H 41.5 cm. Engraved signature and date. In keeping with the Bauhaus idea, Reckewitz also devoted himself to the artistic design of everyday life. In addition to murals and fountains, this also included sculptures in public and private spaces. The present work probably served as a model for a large-format sculpture in the atrium of the BfG in Wuppertal.
