2 pairs of Empire candlesticks
Marble, metal, and bronze, gilded and patinated. Two pairs of candlesticks intended as counterparts. On a marble base with a gilded base and applied garland. Each depicts a male and female figure in contrapposto and antique-style clothing. Each holds an amphora with foliage branches from which buds emerge. Two carved blossoms serve as spouts. 40 x 21 x 8.5 cm.
