Sterling silver, around 1928. High cylindrical bowl with a slightly flared mouth on a round base that tapers towards the top. H. 12 cm. Weight: 85 g each. Marked on the underside: master's mark CD, hallmark 925.

Christian Dell designed the wine goblet while teaching at the Frankfurt School of Art. Dell remained true to the geometric design principles of the Bauhaus, where he was foreman of the metal workshop from 1922 to 1925. In 1933, he was dismissed as a teacher at the Frankfurt art school by the National Socialists.
