Three colored aquatint etchings

Views of the Moselle valley. Below each image in ink with topographical description: Beilstein; Marienburg monastery; Gröff and the ruins of the Wolfer monastery. 9.5 x 14 cm. Also three aquatint etchings by Rudolf Bodmer (1805-1841). Image size approx. 9.5 x 14 cm. Next to the place name, bottom left, each inscribed "nd Natur v. C. Bodmer" and bottom right "in aqua tinta v. R. Bodmer". Below the image, printing note "Coblenz bey. J. Hölscher". Three sheets each in a passepartout framed under glass. In the years 1831 to 1833, the Hölscher publishing house published an album with 30 loose sheets under the title "The Moselle valley from Trier to Coblenz. In picturesque views, drawn from nature by C. Bodmer, etched in acqua tinta by R. Bodmer". The sheets appeared in three versions at different prices: in aquatint, in color and finely painted.
