(in memory of Ernst Barlach). Bronze, greenish patina. 26 x 26 x 9 cm. Signed on the left edge in the cast and inscribed with the foundry stamp: KOLLWITZ, H. NOACK, BERLIN. Dr. Annette Seeler, author of the catalogue raisonné of Käthe Kollwitz's sculptures, considers the present bronze cast to be an authorized posthumous reproduction that was made in the Hermann Noack foundry in Berlin until 1960/61.
