Very rare set of 5 jugs / pitchers with lids

Design of the shape and decoration in 1927. Manufactured by Velten-Vordamm Steingutfabrik GmbH. Bulbous shape with a recessed lid and round handle. White engobed, grey shards with multi-coloured ring decoration. Largest jug: 15.5 x 18.5 x 22 cm. Height of the other jugs: 14.5, 12, 10.5, 9 cm. Marked with underglaze marks and press stamp 525.

This set is probably a one-off collection of different sizes of this rare design by the Bauhaus student Theodor Bogler, with the same decoration.
