Elaborately designed folder with one of a total of 10 lithographs printed on sheepskin, a woodcut and a text by Sigmund Freud printed on loose sheets. No. XXIV of 25 artist's copies from the total edition of 250. Folder with embossed book cover in iron sheet based on Michelangelo's Moses sculpture and an oversized eye, wooden box with suede cover, inside with acrylic glass covers. 70 x 58 x 10 cm. Signed in the iron sheet of the cover: Dali. Lithograph: 64.2 x 49.6 cm. Lithograph signed and numbered in pencil: Dali EA XXIV/XXV.

Extremely lavish publication, published as a homage to Sigmund Freud. To create the lithographs with inserted engravings, Dalí engraved solid gold plates with a diamond stylus. Light sheepskin was used as the printing medium (see also cat. nos. 254 and 255).

The items can be viewed and inspected prior to the auction; they all are, without exception, used and of a certain age. Their actual state of preservation is - corresponding to their age and their used state - not being referred to expressly in the catalogue and on the internet, but is agreed specification (cf.
