The Powell Duffryn Mural. 16-part installation


  1. Stoneware, some interlocking. Differently structured surfaces, with glazes ranging from manganese black and brown, to rich layered sand-colored and cream-colored nuances.
    650 x 300 cm total size, D. 60 cm largest ceramic, D. 30 cm smallest ceramic.


‚The Powell Duffryn Mural’ has been in the private possession of a major German ceramic collector since February 1985. The rehanging of the wall installation was planned, arranged and installed personally by the ceramicist Beate Kuhn and Dr. Paul Köster (Kunstkammer Köster) in the mid-1990s.


The location of the sixteen impressively ceramic discs had been unknown to public since 1985.
