Three-part figure group

Wood, painted and gilded over black lacquer. The large central figure of Sho-Kannon stands in a slight tribhanga posture on a double lotus above a red-lacquered base,
his right hand hanging down in mudra his left holding a bottle, he is dressed in a
floor-length robe with a shawl draped over his body, shoulders and arms, on his head
a diadem and on the chest a necklace made of a gilded copper sheet with glass beads, behind him a halo. The two accompanying figures each kneel with folded hands on a lotus above a high swirl of clouds. Height 33 - 44 cm.
